Triple Ph.D. - University of Colorado, Boulder
I am a passionate music educator and multi-disciplinary researcher at the intersection of Music, AI, XR, Neuroscience, Networking, and HCI. Specializing in design of complex collaborative systems, analyzing human dynamics, and brain-computer interfaces in musical contexts. Â
Triple Ph.D. | M.S. HCI | B.S. Physiology / Music
1. Creative Technology and Design
2. Neuroscience
3. Cognitive Science
I've been professionally teaching music since 2010 and performing all of my life. I've taught hundreds of students from ages 4 to 92 at various institutions across the country, including public schools, music schools, and private lessons. Now I focus on making music experiences more enjoyable and inclusive through technology. I employ methods I've learned throughout my career as a researcher from psychology, HCI, neuroscience, and computer science to design and build experiences for real-time musical improvisation. I specialize in Artificial Intelligence, Neuroscience, Hardware & Software Design, Networked Music, and Performance. Â
